FindETFStock is a free tool to compare price returns, drawdowns and dividend yields of US-listed ETFs and stocks, updated after every trading day. It is built and run by **Ogulcan Dulger**.

## Why does FindETFStock exist?

FindETFStock started as a personal research workflow: a set of scripts that collected daily closing prices for thousands of US-listed funds and companies and turned them into one chart that could be filtered, ranked and compared. This site runs the same workflow automatically every trading day and publishes the result for anyone to use.

## What can you do with it?

- Rank ETFs or stocks by price return over any period from 1 day to 5 years.
- Chart up to 100 symbols at once, as return % from a common start date or as closing price.
- Filter by maximum drawdown in the selected period and by trailing 12 month dividend yield.
- Switch between two page styles, Explorer and Terminal, each with a day and night mode.

## Where does the data come from?

Daily closing prices and dividend events come from Yahoo Finance; the list of US listings comes from the Nasdaq Trader symbol directories. The [methodology](/methodology/) page explains every calculation and its limitations.

## Who is behind it?

FindETFStock is an independent project by Ogulcan Dulger. It is not affiliated with any fund issuer, broker or data provider, and it does not accept payment to include or rank any symbol.
