FindETFStock does not use tracking cookies, does not run ads and does not sell or share personal data. This page lists everything the site stores and why.

## What is stored in your browser?

FindETFStock uses your browser's local storage (not cookies) to remember choices you make. The values never leave your device.

| Key | What it holds | Why |
|---|---|---|
| `fes:prefs` | Your choice of ETFs or stocks and the Explorer or Terminal style | So the first-visit question is asked only once |
| `fes:theme:explorer`, `fes:theme:terminal` | Day or night mode for each style | To keep your preferred mode |

You can remove them at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

## Does the site use cookies?

Public pages set **no cookies**. A session cookie and a security (CSRF) cookie are set only on the private administration area used by the site operator. When user accounts are introduced, sign-in will use the same kind of strictly necessary session cookie, and this policy will be updated first.

## Analytics

If analytics is enabled, FindETFStock uses a self-hosted instance of [Umami](https://umami.is/), which is cookieless: it records page views and simple events (for example, switching between ETFs and stocks) without cookies, without cross-site tracking and without storing IP addresses. Browsers that send a Do Not Track signal are not counted.

## Server logs

Like every website, the web server records technical request logs: IP address, time, requested URL, referrer and browser user agent. They are used only to keep the site secure and working and to understand which search and AI crawlers visit. Logs are deleted automatically after **30 days** and are not shared.

## Third parties

Pages load no third-party scripts, fonts or trackers; fonts are served from this site. Links to Yahoo Finance open Yahoo's own website, which has its own privacy policy.

## Your rights and contact

Because FindETFStock does not collect personal data beyond short-lived server logs, there is usually nothing to access or delete. For any privacy question or request, email [hello@findetfstock.com](mailto:hello@findetfstock.com).
